| The sound region has proclaimed a vision of becoming the most ecologically viable large urban region in the world. So far the Fixed Link has been a symbol of a political experiment with little or no ground in ecological and environmental considerations. This means that a fundamental part of sustaining the healthy sound region mission is projecting a positive image of environmental awareness. The SQUID Squad Project makes a statement about the future for Pepper Island, the Sound Region and beyond. |
