The site for the project is a small sliver of steeply sloped land in the Hollywood Hills, which is heavily vegetated. There was an opportunity for a few select views, but there were some views that needed to be blocked. Natural light for working was also a big desire.

The solution of a simple and elegantly detailed glass box was arrived at by both the architect and the client as solving all of the programmatic requirements as well as being the most economical way to build on the steep hill. All structure, electrical, and mechanical was left exposed and uniformly painted white. The Art Directors many awards, models of past works, and works in progress serve to animate the museum-like industrial interior.
